Real-Time Assessment

MakeMusic Cloud is the only music education platform that offers real-time musical assessment. As performers play along with their parts, feedback on note pitch, rhythm, and duration is displayed with red, green, and yellow notes. Students will be able to see, as they perform, which notes they are playing correctly and incorrectly.

After their performance, they will also receive a percentage score based on the accuracy of their playing. This feedback is shared with their teachers, which makes grading assignments easier.

Performers can practice their instrument by using a built-in microphone. connecting a microphone to their device, or by utilizing MIDI devices such as MIDI keyboards, MIDI mallet devices, and MIDI drum pads. The Practice tool also offers both melodic and percussive options, which allow performers to clap through their part if instruments aren’t accessible at home.

  • Develop solid foundations by breaking down complex pieces step-by-step
  • Support teaching best practices and habit-building by providing a clear, guided path
